File Compare: Force Text option
When I compare two text files that SmartGit detects as binary there is the option Force Text (top right above the file compare subpanel) in the main SmartGit window.
When I double click on the file I get the differences between the two files but there is no option to Force Text. Is it possible to add the Force Text action in the main File Compare window?

What exactly is the reason for having it open in the File Compare? What feature from the File Compare you need which the Changes view doesn't offer?
If the file is too big, the Changes view displays a message: the file is too big and I have to double-click on the file to open it in File Compare.
Imo the option to Force Text should be available in the File Compare window. It's a feature inherent to comparing files. Changes wiew is for taking a quick look at what changed in a file. I use File Compare when I want to look in detail at all the changes and maximize the screen space. I think I should be able to Force Text there if I need to.
As a principle, File Compare should include everything that Changes view includes.
